WHAT DO ALL THOSE ACRONYMS MEAN??

Sometimes I forget that we are not born with a gene that tells us ECB, WYB, BTEF and such mean..sorry. Here is a list of many abbreviations and acronyms that are often used by myself and many others. I have no idea who to thank for the list as long ago I took it from somewhere saved it and often have used it find the meaning of something. Whoever did it years ago, THANKS! I hope this will help many of you. I would suggest you copy it and keep a copy in your coupon book. Let me know if I missed anything.
Blinkies - coupon dispersed from an instore smartsource coupon machine (usually with a blinking light)
BOGO or B1G1F - Buy one, get one free
BTFE - Box Tops for Education
BTW - By the way
B&M - Brick & Mortar, (supermarket, etc.) as opposed to an online “virtual” store
Catalina - Catalina Category Marketing (CCM) rewards purchases of promoted products with “catalinas”, also known as “check-out coupons”. These offer incentives good on your next shopping trip to that retailer.
C/O - cents off coupon
COH - Cut Out Hunger
CRT - Cash register tape
CYE - Check your email
DCRT - Dated cash register tape
DCRTC - Dated cash register tape with the price circled
DND - Do Not Double
Double coupon - coupon that a grocery store matches to “double” the value to the consumer
ECB - CVS Extra Care Bucks earned for purchases
FAR - Free After Rebate
HBA - The health and beauty aid
HT or HgT - Hang tags for refunds or coupons hanging on a product

IDSO - In Desperate Search Of
IVC - Walgreen’s Instant Value Coupon

OAS - a coupon that is good on any size

Peelie - coupon that is attached directly to the product to be “peeled off“. Generally they indicate “use me now”. These coupons are frequently unnoticed at the time of purchase, but can be removed and redeemed at any time before the expiration date.

POP - Proof of purchase
PP - purchase price
Q or Qualifier - The POP required for a refund offer that is physically taken from that package
RAOK - Random act of kindness
SASE - Self Addressed Stamped Envelope
SCR - Rite Aid Single Check Rebate
SD - Store Display
SF - Store form
SMP - Specially Marked Packages
SS - Smart Source
Tear pad - A pad of coupons, generally stocked on the shelf or display, where you simply tear the coupon off of the pad.
TMF - Try Me Free
Train - a coupon train. Coupons are passed along to a number of different people who are “on the train” where they take coupons they need and place in other coupons they don’t need to save money for all
Triple coupon - a coupon that a grocery store triples in value
V - Valassis
Wine Tag - coupon, usually for $ off any meat, cheese or produce, may or may not require any other purchase (including no wine purchase).
