It has been busy around our house, we have our two year old twin grandsons Brady and Colton with us. They will be three in Jan, and for those of us who do not have little one full time..they are busy. Oh what a blessing they have been to watch them play and paint and frost cookies what wonderful joy they bring to our lives. Next week we will have our Ellie who will be two in Jan ..oh we also will have her Mommy and Daddy. I cannot wait to see Ellie frost cookies this year! What an amazing blessing she has been to our lives, so sweet, so perfert, so prayed for, she is gift beyond words which we are so very thankful for.
Sorry I have not been here much in the past week. I am not much of one for the Black Friday and Thanksgiving day sales. Those that know me, know I am not shopping on Thanksgiving or Sundays so those sales I just skip over anyways and Black Friday I find the really good deals are almost impossible to get and most of the time the sale is as good later in some other store. I also find the food deals this time of year are really poor. I will keep posting what I see as a good deal but unless someone runs a sale that is not yet posted I do not see much to stock up in the next few weeks...and most of us do not have the extra money this time of year.

KMART DOUBLES....AGAIN..AND AGAIN!!!!!
Here are the dates, save them!!! Start saving those coupons.
They have added 2 double coupon promotions to the calendar.The first event is from November 12 through November 16 only at Super K stores. The second is from November 30 through December 6. This second double coupon promotion will be effective at all Kmart Stores, including Super K stores.
Those that live around a Super KMart get to shop in the morning!! Luck you! The rest of us will either have to drive a ways or wait until Nov 30th.

So if you haven't been yet (or going again like me), we end up getting more deals! Here's what I spotted:

KROGER MEGA SALE!!!! GET READY
I just got an copy of the KROGER MEGA sale, for me it will start in one day...those in INDY should check and see if your store is now running it or will start one day this week. It depends on what day your stores change ads, here it is Wed. night at mid-night..that is how they word it, I think that would mean on Thursday...but who knows :)

I was pretty unsure of it as the first time Krogers did this it was a mess. Well I am glad to say that after three weeks I think its great! Another way to save money and Krogers will let you use an e-coupon and a MC coupon on the same item. I have done this a few times now and will try and send a few of the ways to use them over the next few days. First you have to sign up to use the site and put your store card number into your profile in order to load the coupons. You can only have 20 coupons on a card at a time so be careful as the only way to get them off is to use them or until they exp.

Ok so I maybe I should not call it a game, but really its all in how you play the game. Drug stores are fighting for our Rx’s as much as other stores are fighting for our dollars. Most now have freebies if you get your Rx filled with them. Those who have an Rx that they fill monthly can make it work well for them. Below are some of the current deals and idea on how to make it work for you.
Walgreens is now giving a $25.00 gift card with any transferred Rx. No coupon needed. Take you Rx bottle to them, they will transfer it and give you $25 for doing so!
CVS Will take any coupon so take the $10.00 K-mart or the $25 Walgreen one this week to CVS and they will give you a $10 or $25. gift card for your Rx, What is great about CVS is they will give you the gift card not to transfer it! Give them the coupon before you pick up your refill and they will give you the gift card.
K-Mart Has a Rx coupon in this weeks ad. Take them your bottle and they will transfer it for you and give you gift card.
Rite-Aid Will take anyone’s coupon.

Look at older post if you are unsure how to do for FREE. You do not need to use your real name and NEVER give out your phone number. I use this one 574-574-5745, my area code over and over and it works fine. You should use your own address as they will often mail coupons.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DO IF YOU ARE GOING TO SHOP KROGERS. SIGN UP AND GET A CARD THIS WEEK IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY HAVE ONE.
I will be adding KROGERs this week to the stores posted on here. KROGERs stores from town to town and areas are not always the same so be sure you check your local Kroger ad before heading out to the store. Check ad here http://services.kroger.com/mapquest/storesearchadvanced.aspx
Below are a few things I saw for this week. Our Kroger ad goes from Wednesday to Tuesday and doubles coupons up to .50. Call your local Kroger and find out if they double. Often one Kroger may not double but the one a few miles away will so if you have more than one in your area call them all. I have one that will triple up to .50, three that will double up to .50 and one that will do nothing. Also ask how many coupons you can use. The one I shop at most has no limit but the one that triples will only let you use two of same coupons and only a total of 40 per day. I would have to go daily to make it work at that store! NOTE..Kroger stores go under other names I know PayLess is one of them.

Not Free but not to bad if you need any of these items. This would be a great time to "test" your local Kroger store with an item or two and using coupons. Talk to your cashier they will know the answers to the questions above and you should get a feel for how coupon happy they are. Let me know if you have questions.
