MY K-MART TRIP

Doug and I went to Indy tonight to have dinner with our kids and our perfect little angel..otherwise known as Princess Ellie. Since we were there I just could not pass up going into K-Mart. Here are some of the deals we found tonight. I have to say there is a good reason I take my hubby with me (he is so great at these things..will shop for hours), you can only use four of the same coupons and a total of 75 coupons per person per day..so I take him so I can double the items in one trip one day.

Dove body wash 4.49 - 2.00 coupon = .49 each We got 8

Kiss nail flowers 2.00 - 1.00 coupon = Free got 8 (the girls at church will love these)

Healthful cat food 1.99 - 1.00 coupon = Free got 8 (we have a few cats outside that will eat anything)

G Mens shampoo 3.50 -2.00 coupon = Free got 8 (these will go in baskets for Chirstmas)

Vasilne lotion 2.99 - 1.25 coupon = .49 got 8 (for baskets)

Vasiline lotion 1.25 - .50 coupon = .25 got 8 (baskets)

Ziploc Cont. 3.19 - 2.00/2 = 2.38 for 2 packs (great price for 8 bowls) got 4 set

Fantastik 2.29 - 1.00 coupon = .29 (for home & church) got 8

Fancy Feast Cat food 1.99 - 1.00 coupon = Free got 8

Sure Deor. 2.29 - 1.00 coupon = .29 (baskets) got 8

Dove Deor. 3.19 - 1.00 coupon = 1.19 got 8 (not free but I really like these)

Johnsville Brats 4.39 -1.00 coupon = 2.39 got 8

Swanson Broth 2/4.00 - 1.00 coupon = Free got 8

Steamers (veggies) 1.99 - 1.00 coupon = Free got 8

Brawny paper towel 8.99 (8roll) - 2.00 coupon = 4.99 got 8 (great towel for church and we use a ton of these)

Roni pasta 1.89 - 1.00 coupon = Free got 8

Green Gaint Corn 2.49 bag - 1.00 coupon = .49 got 8

Fin'ger nails for girls 4.49 -2.00 coupon = .49 (the girls will love them at church) got 8

Razors 3.89 - 2.00 coupon = Free got 8 (baskets)

Zest 3bar soap 2.29 - 1.00 coupon = .29 got 8 (baskets)

Pert Shampoo 3.89 - 2.00 coupon = Free (baskets)

Colgate toothpaste 2/5.00 - 1.00 coupon = .50 each got 8 (baskets)

Colgate for kids 2.29 - 1.00 coupon = .29 got 8 (baskets)

J&J buddie bars 1.09 - $3/3 = Free got 12 (this coupon did not double but has 3 of them Ellie and the twins love these..well their Moms do)

Sally Hansen nail polish 2.00&2.50 - 1.00 coupon Free to .50 (girls will love this..Moms may not I found light pink and white with glitter in it!)

Chariman TP 12 double roll 5.99 -1.00 coupon = 3.99 got 4

I also got crackers, cereal, apples and a few other things..tired of typing..but you get the idea.

When all was done we spent before coupons 189.00 on the first order and 140.00 on the second after coupons 29.14 on the first, 5.19 on the second!

Take what ever coupons you have on hand and head over to K-mart. Make the most of what you have. With that said I also have to say that K-mart is a bit high priced. If you do not have a coupon of .75 or higher that they will double I think you can do better at Krogers and other places that double .50 and under. The things I saw that were not on sale were about 15% higher than other stores..so watch what you buy.

The bad thing of doubles is you may want to buy items you do not need..unless its FREE or its something you will use in the next 6 months and its 60% off or more don't buy it. If you giving away items to shelters and such then look for items that are 80% off or more. There are great sales and coupons coming out all the time, wait for the next sale.
