Unadvertised, you're going to find pork onsale. It's the product of pandemic hysteria around H1N1 "swine" flu. It's important to note that flu is passed by contact with a sick individual through the mouth, eyes, or nose. It's not contracted by eating pork. But the perception is already out there and stores are going to have to contend with it. Industries that are affected from bad press tend to mark down their products as a way to combat negative publicity. We saw this a few years ago with Avian flu and poultry prices, and we saw it recently with peanuts, where Skippy and Jif slashed prices and put out high-value coupons to both move the inventory and to let customers know it was safe to eat jarred peanut butter. So if you haven't already seen cheap pork in your market (cheap being $1.49 or less per pound) you will.

I hope you are all doing well and have found the sites I sent you to helpful. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back but life has been busy. God blessed us with a wonderful vacation and time with our Grandson that we all remember for a long time. Alaska is just an amazing state with so many things to do and see. Anyone who can spend a few days there and think there is not a God who made all things is....well crazy!! There is no way a few "bangs" could do such wonders. We saw lots of wildlife but I have to say the Eagles were top of my list, we saw over 100 of them!!! Jarred and Doug stood within two feet of one!!
My brother-in-law John went home last week. We were sad to have him leave us but know that today he is wearing a crown sitting at the feet of our Lord. John was just an amazing man and will be missed by his wife, children and all who ever meet him. His love and trust in the Lord leaves us with the peace of knowing we shall see him someday.
Blessing to all of you and again I am sorry it has taken so long to get back here.

Good Morning Everyone.
I wanted to let you know that after posting Meijers today and perhaps an update on a few things over the next two days I would be taking a vacation from bloging. We are leaving for ALASKA on Friday and will be gone until Easter. I am sure you will all be able to find great deals for a week without me...or you could take a week FREE from shoppping and live off all those items that you have stocked up in your pantry. Its that time again, K-Mart doubles are back next week 3/22-3/28. They will double coupons with a face value up to $2.00. Responsibility Project DVDsThis kit includes interactive and fun materials to help children learn about personal responsibility and encourages them to discuss with one another what it meansto be responsible. I just spent some time watching some of these, they are really good. If you have kids 5-10 they will like these and it gives you a chance to talk about what we should all do and how God teaches us to live with eachother.

Free After School Kit for Kids - this would be great for your own child or to donate. You would be surprised how many children have no educational materials and/or books at home and I sure any shelter or after-school program would welcome this. If you do not want please order it and pass it on to me and we will make sure it gets to a program where children will enjoy it. THANKS!

Yesterday there was a new set of Target Web coupons released. One of the coupons is for $1/1 any Pepperidge Farms crackers(fishes). 6 oz bags of Goldfish crackers are $1.66 at my Target, that makes them $.66 after coupon! Not to bad if you have little ones around..or are like me and just love those things!
Another coupon is $1 off broccoli making it very cheep..perhaps FREE. The last time they had this coupon out we really stocked up!
